On 30 June 2021 we hosted the spring edition of our Finance Transformation Forum, We experienced an engaging virtual forum with the theme “The Value Added by Finance in Digitization”. Within this theme we focused on the following concepts:

– Finance in a data-driven organization

– Robotization, automation, and AI

– The ethical aspects of the ongoing digital transformation

The forum was hosted by Transformation Forums in partnership with Agium, Uipath, University of Amsterdam and Workday. The keynote speakers included Stefan Buijsman, a published author on AI and Post-Doctorate researcher on AI at TU Delft, and Peter van Bommel, formerly CFO at ASMI and currently a supervisory board member at Nedap and chairman curatorium EMFC at the University of Amsterdam. The keynote third speaker was Edwin Kunkels, VP Group Reporting and Deputy Controller at Shell. Our final keynote was Joris Juttmann, Partner Digital Process Excellence at KPMG. The following professionals were also present in the studio: Menno Harkema, CFRO Lifetri Groep, Lodewijk Lockefeer, CFO at Royal Zeelandia, Belle Spaan, Finance Director Leviat and Prof. Frank Verbeeten, Professor of Accounting at the University of Amsterdam. The moderator of the Forum was Bas van Werven.
